Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using NutriOn ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. The App is operated by Sigma AI Limited ("we", "our", or "us").
Description of Service
NutriOn is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that helps users log their food intake, analyze nutritional content, and receive personalized dietary feedback. The App uses artificial intelligence to recognize food from photos and provide nutritional estimates.
Account Registration
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Upload malicious content or attempt to interfere with the App's operation
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Health Disclaimer
Important: NutriOn is designed for general wellness and informational purposes only. The nutritional information provided is estimated and should not be considered medical advice. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have medical conditions, allergies, or specific dietary requirements.
Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the App require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store according to your chosen plan (monthly or yearly).
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.
Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sigma AI Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (such as food photos). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze such content to provide and improve our services. We may use anonymized data to train and improve our AI models.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sigma AI Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutritional estimates will be completely accurate.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
